Last Friday was our annual "College Girlfriends Gift Exchange". The 10 of us have been through so much together over the years. Most of us cheered for hockey at UWEC back in the 80s and we picked up a few gals that were HS best friends. We've been getting together now for 20+ years and it's always so amazing to see how much [and how little] really happens over the course of a year. This year we were sad that Beth couldn't join us... hopefully next year Beth!
Cindy (my twin) hosted this year despite being laid up on crutches after ankle surgery. But she is THE Martha Stewart of the day and of course an ankle surgery couldn't lay her up. ;) Her house is always so beautifully decorated and everything was just perfect.
Unfortunately, the night was cut a bit short this year by the weather -- our first "real" snowstorm that happened to hit during rush hour caused many to be late (me included) and others to leave early to get across town. Was a bit disappointed that we didn't have more time to catch up.
